PRogram Pillars

At Erulgen School, our program rests on strong, timeless foundations designed to nurture the whole child — heart, mind, and spirit.

1. Learning by Doing

We foster natural curiosity through hands-on experiences. Children explore, experiment, and discover at their own pace, building critical thinking and problem-solving skills for life.

2. The Silent Guide and Prepared Environment

Our teachers serve as gentle guides, stepping forward only when needed. The environment is carefully crafted to encourage independence, exploration, and self-motivation.

3. Connection with Nature

Nature is our living classroom. Through daily outdoor activities, gardening, and observation, children develop a sense of wonder, responsibility, and gratitude for the natural world.

4. Virtues-Based Education

Inspired by timeless values reflected in nature — Respect, Keeping One’s Word, Loyalty, and Justice — we help children internalize the core virtues that build strong character and a compassionate heart.

5. STEAM Foundations

Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) are woven naturally into our curriculum, offering early opportunities for critical thinking, creativity, and intellectual exploration.

6. Introduction to Algorithms

Even at an early age, children can grasp the fundamental ideas behind sequences, patterns, and logical steps — the building blocks of algorithmic thinking. Through playful activities and hands-on projects, we introduce children to early computational thinking without screens, fostering their future fluency in a world where algorithms will be everywhere.

7. Fine Arts and Music

We believe that artistic expression is a fundamental language of childhood. Through daily experiences with drawing, painting, sculpting, and music, children refine their motor skills, express their emotions, and strengthen their ability to communicate ideas visually and audibly. Art and music are woven into all areas of learning, not taught in isolation.

8. Scientific Explorations

Children are natural scientists. Through guided experiments, observation, classification, and discovery projects, we nurture their innate sense of wonder about the world around them. Our approach encourages questioning, hypothesizing, and joyfully finding answers — planting the seeds for a lifelong love of science and inquiry.

9. Future Readiness and Adaptability

We prepare children to thrive in a world shaped by innovation and change. Building resilience, adaptability, and ethical reasoning starts early, through experiences grounded in human connection and meaningful engagement.

10. Parent, Child, and School Partnership

We believe true growth is a partnership. A trusting, respectful relationship between the school, the family, and the child creates a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

  • "I am Building Myself" Period (up to 3 Hours) 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

This is the core of the morning — an extended, uninterrupted work period where children independently explore activities based on their interests and developmental stages.
